PlayFame may be a new sweepstakes casino, but it is obvious that their owners have worked hard to ensure the casino stands out for all the right reasons. There are over 1,000 titles on the website, and these are developed by leading iGaming software providers like Netent and Relax Gaming among others.

With so much to choose from, I was pleasantly surprised with the casino’s welcome bonus. This offers a generous 10,000 GC and 3 SC, and although this probably isn’t enough to explore the casino library properly it’s more than enough for a solid start. Plus, as I’ll cover later, there are numerous other ways to easily top up your account balance.

While the first impressions are undeniably impressive, they are not the full picture. To cover everything you need to know, I have written a detailed review of PlayFame, so feel free to read on if you’re looking for a new online casino.

PlayFame may be a solid new entry into the sweepstakes industry, but it is going to have to do a lot to stand out from major established players like WOW Vegas, Sweepstastic and Zula.

While it still has to build up a reputation to attract enough players to rival these brands, it has certainly made a good start. With over 1,000 titles to choose from, most players are sure to find something they enjoy. The casino is also a legitimate business, as its owner B2Services OÜ has other sweeps casinos in its portfolio.

Players must be at least 18 to play at PlayFame as well as being located in an eligible state. The restricted states at the time of writing are Alabama, Delaware, Georgia, Idaho, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, Ohio, Washington and West Virginia.

PlayFame operates using the standard sweepstakes model of dual currency payments, allowing players to enjoy free Gold Coins (GC) and premium Sweeps Coins (SC).

Of course, there is a major difference between the two currencies. GC are solely used for fun, whereas SC can be redeemed for real prizes. For this reason, SC cannot be bought outright, although there are several ways to boost your SC balance.

These include purchasing GC packs, as most of the ones available at PlayFame come with bonus SC attached. However, spending any money is completely optional at a sweeps casino, so don’t feel pressured into making a decision.

All SC must be wagered at least once before they become redeemable, but this is in line with the industry standard.

With over 1,000 games in its library, PlayFame is serious about entertaining their players. The casino also naturally wants its players to keep coming back for more, and to this end there are a sizable number of bonuses available to take advantage of.

While the first purchase bonuses and the welcome bonus offer new players a great way to get started, there are a number of other casino bonuses on offer to existing players as well. These include:

• A Daily Login bonus of 1,000 GC and up to 2.5 SC. While the GC amount is standard, the SC amount is based on your luck.
• Social media promotions that reward free GC and SC.
• A Referral bonus of up to 160,000 GC + 70 SC. Players will receive 60,000 GC and 20 SC when a referred individual spends at least $50, with the rest requiring other conditions to be met.
• Coin pack promotions are regularly pushed on social media as well as via email. This reduces the chances of players missing a time-limited offer.

9/10: The bonus offerings are great, but the absence of a VIP Program is disappointing.

Our Feedback: PlayFame largely does well on the bonus front, but I can’t give it a perfect score. While the Daily Login bonus is solid and the welcome bonus offering is also decent, the lack of a VIP Programprevents a perfect score. While the Mail-In bonus took a long time to arrive, this did not impact the casino’s score as this method is notoriously slow no matter what sweepstakes casino you use.

That said, claiming the array of PlayFame bonuses is very easy, so these flaws are not enough to negatively impact the bonus score in a major way.

The casino games libraryat PlayFame is one of the biggest I’ve seen with over 1,000 titles available, and the array of game providers is equally impressive. As well as big hitters like Relax Gaming, there are also specialised developers like Slotopia accounted for on the website.

With so many games, it’s not surprising that there are plenty of titles with special features, allowing PlayFame to cater to players who prefer both standard and alternative online casino experiences. If you’re looking for major wins, make sure to check out the array of Megaways and Hold & Win titles.

Another special feature that I really enjoyed was the ‘Creators’ tab, as this provides unique betting opportunities. This really helps freshen up the online casino experience, as it’s much easier to get bored playing casino games than you might initially think.

While you have to verify your phone number to play with SC, this is a standard feature of online sweeps casinos. It’s also worth noting that while there is no demo play option as such, there are still a small number of games that can be played completely for free with unlimited Gold Coins. Online Slots

Online Slots make up the bulk of the library at PlayFame, but this is true of most online casinos, whether they operate a sweepstakes or real money gambling model.

With so many options, there are plenty of games to enjoy here, and you can also bookmark your favorites by pressing the heart button in-game. Make sure to try the Megaways and Hold & Win titles if you’re on the hunt for major wins.

Jackpot Play

While Megaways and Hold & Win titles are well-suited for large wins, the JackPot Play games also do this job very well. There are over 10 of them to choose from, and you can choose to play with both GC and SC, so you can adapt your experience as you see fit.

Cascading Reels

While Jackpot Play is ideal for players seeking big wins, Cascading Reels is more suited to players who want to play with smaller amounts of SC but still enjoy sizable wins. Cascading Reels can massively boost your win amount with one good spin, and there are 36 of them to choose from on the PlayFame website.

Table Games

Unfortunately, the Table Games selection at PlayFame has clearly been sacrificed in favor of other areas, as it consists solely of one Texas Hold’em title.

However, while players may not be able to enjoy Table Games on their own time, they can still enjoy popular Table Games like Baccarat, Blackjack and Roulette in real time thanks to the Live Dealer section of the casino.

8/10: The games library is huge and has plenty to enjoy, but there is still room for improvement.

Our Feedback: While most of PlayFame’s library is Online Slots, this is no massive problem as many sweeps casinos and indeed online casinos in general direct the bulk of their creative attention to this category.

That said, this attention has clearly come at the expense of other areas. There is only one Table Game in the form of Texas Hold’em, which is disappointing as I like to be able to play casino games on my own time. That said, the Live Casino section is decently stocked with games like Blackjack, Roulette and Game Shows. So while the standard Table Games offering is a bit disappointing, fans of a more immersive experience should find enough to keep themselves entertained for a while.

PlayFame’s range of payment options is fairly standard as it includes Visa and Mastercard, while redemptions are limited to Bank Transfers and Gift Cards. However, there are a number of other deposit options besides Visa and Mastercard, with Discover, Apple Pay and Google Pay all eligible to be used.

The minimum redemption requirement for Cash Prizes is 75 SC. Although not the lowest, it is still better than some other casinos I’ve encountered. It’s also worth noting that the minimum requirement for Gift Cards is much lower at 10 SC.

The redemption limits are In line with the industry standard, as players can withdraw up to $10,000 a day outside of Florida and New York, where the limit drops to $5,000.

Payment Options Overview

As is usually the case, players must undergo strict KYC checks when they request a prize redemption for the first time. These checks are actually stricter than I’ve encountered at many sweeps casinos, with players required to supply an array of identity documents including a driver’s license, a utility bill and their bank account details.

I was also required to submit a selfie as extra proof of ID, which I was pleased to see as it showed that PlayFame takes its compliance requirements very seriously.

8/10: The banking options are mostly standard, but are still fairly limited.

Our Feedback: While the banking options are mostly standard, they do the job reasonably well, even if the Cash Prizes are a bit slow to process from time to time. It is also worth noting that the minimum of 10 SC and 75 SC that are respectively required for Gift Cards and Bank Transfers means that prizes are accessible to the vast majority of players.

Purchasing GC is always optional, but I have to say that PlayFame’s packages offer great value. The SC bonuses tagged on to most of the packs are also well in line with what I would expect at the stated price points.

Having looked at the PlayFame website and studied the owners B2Services OÜ in depth, I can safely say that PlayFame can be trusted to play fair across all areas of the casino.

B2Services OÜ is a trusted operator, and PlayFame is fully compliant with all the necessary laws. The presence of major iGaming developers is also a big green flag, as these companies can be trusted to make their titles fair. Finally, all games on the PlayFame website are regularly tested to ensure they are completely transparent, so players can be even more sure that their chances of winning are completely fair.

Company and Safety Review

Responsible Social Gameplay

PlayFame has a number of Responsible Gambling tools in place to ensure it remains fully compliant with the law. As well as KYC checks to prevent underage players from accessing the website, the casino also uses geofencing to keep out players who reside in a restricted state.

There are also a number of Responsible Gambling tools available to players such as temporary and permanent self-exclusion options. You have to contact the support team to request this but they will instantly action your request, which is a great way to prevent problematic tendencies becoming worse.

Our Feedback: PlayFame hits a lot of the right notes concerning its Trust & Safety score, but the lack of a time tracker means I cannot give it 10/10. I believe that every casino regardless of its business model should offer time trackers as standard, as it can be all too easy to spend too long on the website, and by extension spend more money than you initially intended.

PlayFame’s customer support offering may have its flaws, but it is still considerably better than I have come to expect from a sweeps casino, having reviewed many of them by this point.

The response from the support team was quick and helpful, so I was able to move on and get right back to gaming. That said, there are a number of areas that need work as far as I’m concerned.

The FAQ page is always my first port of call when I have an issue, as I like to try and solve problems myself. While PlayFame’s offering is decent, I feel that it needs to cover more than just the basics. I’m also not a fan of the fact that Live Chat has essentially been paywalled, although the fact that the coin bundles start at just $1.99 means that unlocking this feature is very easy.

While I like that you can reach out to the social media team if you have a general query that is not related to your account, I was not happy that it took a while for them to get back to me. On the other hand, although the email response time was relatively slow at around 1 hour, I can’t hold this against PlayFame as this method is usually quite slow by its nature.

Customer Support Overview

8/10: Customer Support at PlayFame is better than I have come to expect.

Our Feedback: Although the customer service offering at PlayFame isn’t perfect, it is still far better than I was expecting. True, the Live Chat has been paywalled, but the cheap coin bundles mean that you can unlock this feature for a one-time payment of just $1.99. If the bundles were even slightly more expensive than this, I would have been much harsher in my overall review of this area.

PlayFame’s user experience is good for many reasons, particularly if you’re new to online casinos. The casino makes it so that you don’t have to try and figure everything out for yourself, as they will provide instructions and tips to get you up to speed and able to enjoy the casino website properly. This is shown most obviously by the Learn More button, which shows how you can play without spending any of your own money.

I also really appreciate the information tabs for Slots, as these provide important details such as RTP rates, volatility levels and betting ranges when you choose one of the games. This is particularly well-received as I’ve run into many sweeps casinos where this feature either doesn’t exist, or it’s not as helpful as it should otherwise be.

The games library is also very well organized, so getting around is incredibly easy. This might sound simple, but the organization helps prevent a lot of unnecessary issues with the overall experience.

PlayFame UI Overview

9/10: The UX is excellent, but the lack of an Android app prevents a perfect score.

Our Feedback: PlayFame has many things going for it that make the UX hassle-free and enjoyable. The casino is mobile-optimized, so iOS and Android players can enjoy the games just as easily as those on a desktop. What’s more, getting around is easy, as the website has plenty of categories that allow you to cater your playing experience to suit your tastes without having to manually scroll to find the games you like. The casino also has a mobile app for iOS users, which is something missing from most of the sweeps casinos I have encountered so far.

The only thing preventing me from giving a perfect score is the lack of an Android app. The existence of an iOS app proves the casino is capable of making a mobile app outright, so I would really like to see this benefit extended to all smartphone users, regardless of the device they use.

PlayFame’s owners B2Services OÜ have a number of other sweepstakes casinos in their portfolio, including Jackpota.

PlayFame has certainly made a good impression on myself and plenty of other players for numerous reasons including its user experience and games library.

Despite this, there are a number of flaws that need addressing. I really don’t like the fact that Live Chat has been essentially paywalled, and the lack of e-wallets means that Cash Prize redemptions take longer than I would have liked.

Yet, there is still plenty to like despite these flaws, so I would still recommend PlayFame if you haven’t already created an account with the casino.
